Fresh Start 5K 2017
Start 2017 off with a FRESH START 5K
New Year's Day is the only time you are sure to have your best time of the year!
Prove you are the "Hardy Minnesotan" the rest of the country talks about by joining the Eden Prairie Women of Today on New Year's Day in our Fresh Start 5K. You'll earn "Hardy Minnesotan" points when you walk or run the 3.1 mile (or 1 mile option) trail around Purgatory Creek in Eden Prairie, no matter what the weather is - crazy cold, snowing, blowing, rail, or even beautiful or sunny.
Your goose bumps during the Fresh Start 5K will provide a college scholarship to a youth in the community and a donation to the PROP Youth Scholarship Fund!
Grab your fellow crazy Minnesota friends and walk or run the Fresh Start 5K with EPWT! Then brag all year about how YOU completed the Fresh Start 5K on New Year's Day!
DON'T WANT TO LEAVE YOUR NICE WARM BED? You can still complete the 5K... Virtually! So if you, your family and friends want to register for a MN 5K to support the scholarships, but you don't want to show up on New Year's Day, register and we'll send you the T-Shirt and your race bib to display to all of your friends and family!
You can also opt to support this without having to do anything other than donate! See options on the registration page!
To register go to our events page at localraces.com.
