Women
of Today believe very strongly in service to others. Activities are
conducted to support and educate the chapter members along with members
of the community in a variety of areas.
The
Eden Prairie Women of Today chapter is involved in a variety of projects.
Here is a small list of some of them. See our upcoming

Road
Cleanup
The
Eden Prairie Women of Today have adopted the frontage road of Highway
169 between Jerry's Foods and Walgreens. You will find us there each
Spring and Fall picking up litter. We also clean up the Red Rock Park
off of Mitchell Road each April. As you can see from the picture below,
our kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews also come to help!

Jeans
for Teens
We have
collected jeans for various teen organizations and shelters over the
last couple years. Jeans of all sizes were gathered and have made a
huge impact on the youth in our community!
Blankets
for Kids
We gathered together on a Saturday in October 2003 to make tie blankets.
They are very quick and fun to make! We made 17 blankets that day which
were all donated to the Shriner's Hospital. Each year since we have
gathered to make fleece tie blankets. We have donated many blankets
to Shriner's Hospital and Project Linus over the years. Watch for a
blanket making event on the calendar each Winter.

Feed
My Starving Children
Several times we have volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen.
We have packed meals, put stickers on bags, and packed boxes. Spouses
and children have also joined us for these events!
